BMO Capital lowered the firm’s price target on Ecovyst (ECVT) to $9 from $11 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. After a disappointing performance in 2023-2024, 2025 outlook starts in a “massive Q1 hole” and requires a hockey stick recovery through 2025, which appears a stretch, the analyst tells investors in a research note. With shares down 17% in two days however, those concerns appear well reflected, BMO added.
