Circana analyst Mat Piscatella said that, according to the fifrm’s Player Engagement Tracker, Electronic Arts’ (EA) “EA Sports College Football 25” ranked third in U.S. daily active users on Xbox Series (MSFT), behind only Activision’s “Call of Duty” and Epic Games’ “Fortnite,” and ranked fourth in daily active users in the U.S. on PlayStation 5 (SONY), behind “Call of Duty,” “Fortnite,” and Take-Two’s (TTWO) “Grand Theft Auto V.” The analyst noted that the college football game is still just in early access for customers who purchased a deluxe edition of the game. The official release date of “College Football 25” is July 19. Investors in Epic Games include Tencent (TCEHY), KKR (KKR), Disney (DIS), and Sony.
