Oppenheimer analyst Rupesh Parikh lowered the firm’s price target on Dollar General to $195 from $200 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares ahead of quarterly results. The firm overall expects another “softish” delivery, about consistent with a Street figure of $2.48. Oppenheimer has trimmed its Q2 EPS forecast to $2.47 from $2.52, incorporating a slightly weaker comp than its prior estimate for potential weather-related challenges in seasonal offerings. For the full year, the firm has moved closer to the low end of management’s full-year guidance, primarily reflecting greater mix headwinds than in its prior model.
