Disney (DIS) is suspending advertising spending on X, formerly Twitter, after Elon Musk endorsed an anti-semitic conspiracy theory on the platform that he acquired last year, the New York Times’ Ryan Mac, Brooks Barnes, and Tiffany Hsu report. Lionsgate (LGF.A), IBM (IBM) and Apple (AAPL) have also paused advertising spending on the platform following the Tesla (TSLA) founder’s post, the authors say, citing a person with knowledge of the matter.
