Disney is in the midst of a new wave of layoffs as part of cost reduction efforts, with about 300 or so workers affected by the latest round of cuts that started Tuesday and have continued through Wednesday, with a possibility to extend even further, Deadline’s Nellie Andreeva and Dominic Patten report, citing sources. The jobs that have been cut, all of which are based in the U.S., are across the media giant’s corporate operations including legal, HR, finance and communications, the authors say.
