DA Davidson keeps a Buy rating and $265 price target on Dick’s Sporting (DKS). The firm is also keeping its “top idea” designation for the stock in 2025 for the third consecutive year. DA Davidson is citing the company’s margins being structurally higher than they were prior to the pandemic while also adding its Game Changer business, which is becoming a “more meaningful profit driver” due to the “professionalization” of youth sports. Dick’s Sporting is still in the early innings of capitalizing on Game Changer’s potential, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
