Dick’s Sporting acquires outdoor retailer Moosejaw from Walmart

Dick’s Sporting Goods (DKS) announced it has agreed to acquire outdoor retailer Moosejaw from Walmart (WMT). The acquisition will expand Dick’s outdoor portfolio and "reaffirm its commitment to the long-term business opportunity in the growing multibillion-dollar outdoor category," the company said in a statement. The deal is expected to close in March 2023. Terms were not disclosed.
