Delta Air Lines selects Hughes Multi-Orbit In-Flight Connectivity Solution

Hughes Network Systems, an EchoStar (SATS) company, announced the revolutionary Hughes Fusion Simultaneous Multi-Orbit In-Flight Connectivity Solution is coming to Delta Air Lines (DAL) for select new delivery A350 and A321neo aircraft. This adds to the already awarded 400+ Delta ERJ, CRJ, and Boeing (BA) 717 aircraft. This innovative industry-first solution was developed for commercial aviation to simultaneously blend LEO and GEO satellite capacity to set a new standard for the in-flight connectivity experience. This solution will be introduced onboard Delta’s 717 aircraft in the second half of 2025. This forward-looking solution provides Delta the utmost flexibility to deliver an elevated seamless experience.
