Barclays lowered the firm’s price target on Delta Air Lines (DAL) to $80 from $90 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The firm says lower airline stock prices were a forward indicator of softer demand, with Delta materially cutting its Q1 outlook with a “rapid” domestic travel decline observed in February. The analyst expects other carriers are likely to reduce near term guidance.
