Citi lowered the firm’s price target on Darden to $192 from $200 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares following the fiscal Q3 report. The company is not deviating from its long-term plans regarding marketing spend and discounting, which is likely to benefit the model over time, but provide for some “uncomfortable windows as consumer spend settles into a post-COVID norm,” the analyst tells investors in a research note.
