CVS Health (CVS) is opening 12 new stores that will focus on full-service pharmacies and have limited retail offerings, with an average size of less than 5,000 square feet, The Wall Street Journal’s Kate King reports. The 12 new stores are expected to open over the next year in cities and towns throughout the U.S. CVS is also closing 270 locations in 2025 as part of a broader downsizing plan, King notes.
