Costco to raise hourly pay for U.S. store workers to over $30, Reuters says

Costco (COST) will increase the pay for most of its hourly U.S. store workers to over $30, Reuters reports, citing a memo sent to employees. Costco intends to increase the hourly pay for its employees over the next three years, with pay rising $1 to $30.20 in the first year and an extra $1 each in the subsequent two years, the memo said. This comes after Costco Teamsters union members said they voted in favor of a nationwide strike.
