Shares of fConduent (CNDT), the business processing outsourcing firm that was previously spun out of Xerox (XRX), are on the rise after Reuters’ Milana Vinn reported that the company is working with a financial adviser to explore a sale after receiving acquisition interest, according to people familiar with the matter. The company is talking with potential acquirers, which include private equity firms, the sources said, adding that if the talks are successful, a deal could be signed in the coming weeks.
