RBC Capital lowered the firm’s price target on CN (CNI) to $171 from $174 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The company reported a weak Q4, though this was not overly unexpected, the analyst tells investors in a research note. More important is that the guide nicely bracketed consensus as the management wanted to set deliverable targets for 2025 – and given that objective, the outlook looks “very encouraging”, RBC added.
