Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will hold a call on Friday at 5pm to discuss Medicare Advantage and Part D and is expected to go over the 2026 Medicare Advantage Advance Notice, Wolfe Research tells investors in a research note. The firm is looking for better than expected MA rates at 4%+ vs. the market consensus of flat to 2%, and says CMS rushing to get this out before President-elect Trump takes over doesn’t make Wolfe “incrementally nervous.” Publicly traded health insurers include UnitedHealth (UNH), Cigna (CI), CVS Health (CVS), Centene (CNC), Elevance Health (ELV), Humana (HUM) and Molina Healthcare (MOH).
