CMA launches merger inquiry into BlackRock’s acquisition of Preqin

The U.K.’s CMA announced the launch of its merger inquiry into the anticipated acquisition by BlackRock (BLK) of Preqin Limited. The deadline for the CMA to announce its decision whether to refer the Merger for a phase 2 investigation February 12, 2025, the CMA said.
