Chipotle CEO: Consumers are becoming more thoughtful about eating out

In an interview on CNBC’s Mad Money, Brian Niccol said the company has never shrunk its portion sizes. “We always said we want to give people great portions.” As a company we’re focused on throughput, he noted. Niccol “definitely sees” a path to 7,000 restaurants, and thinks that goal will be surpassed.
