CenterPoint Energy price target raised to $36 from $35 at BMO Capital

BMO Capital analyst James Thalacker raised the firm’s price target on CenterPoint Energy (CNP) to $36 from $35 and keeps a Market Perform rating on the shares. The firm is adjusting its model after PUCT – Public Utility Commission of Texas – approved the settlement agreement in CenterPoint’s rate case with minor changes and notes that investors focus now turns to the company’s comprehensive financial update in late Q2 or early Q3, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
