CCC Intelligent Solutions downgraded to Neutral from Overweight at JPMorgan

JPMorgan analyst Alexei Gogolev downgraded CCC Intelligent Solutions (CCCS) to Neutral from Overweight with a price target of $11, down from $14. The company’s Q4 operational results and organic revenue growth guidance for fiscal 2025 have “revived investor fears” that its growth opportunity and market penetration may be at risk, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm believes CCC’s claim volumes are likely to continue to be a drag in 2025, “clouding sentiment over potential upside risks.” While CCC is likely to play a crucial role in digitization of the automotive and the property and casualty segments of insurance, the downgrade reflects a relative call against peers, says JPMorgan, which would suggest playing insurance exposure through Guidewire (GWRE).
