Carlyle Group (CG) and Insight Partners have acquired risk-management software and services provider Exiger, The Wall Street Journal’s Mengqi Sun and Rod James report. According to sources, the deal values the former HSBC (HSBC) monitor at about $1.2B. Carlyle and Insight beat out rivals including Blackstone (BX) in a competitive auction process, one of the people says.
