Truist analyst Michael Lewis lowered the firm’s price target on Camden Property to $136 from $160 but keeps a Buy rating on the shares. Growth rates in the sector are slowing and cap rates are rising, but even with his conservative occupancy and rent growth projections, Camden Property is positioned to produce healthy earnings growth, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Lewis adds that he believes the REIT’s low-levered balance sheet should allow the company to pursue attractive investment opportunities.
