There’s an Airbnb (ABNB) competitor called Vrbo, Jack Hough writes in this week’s edition of Barron’s. It’s free – not the service, but rather the whole business. That’s according to one recent analysis of Vrbo parent Expedia Group (EXPE), whose stock price has fallen by nearly half over the past year, the author says. The same analysis predicts more than 50% upside for Expedia stock in the near-term, of which Hough is 25% confident. Somewhat less theoretically, it points out that the company is likely to generate enough free cash over the next seven or eight years to buy 90% of its shares outstanding. Reference Link
