Argus analyst John Staszak raised the firm’s price target on Booking Holdings to $4,615 from $4,342 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The firm has a positive view of online travel companies in general as growing numbers of travelers book their travel reservatoins online, and Booking in particular, based on its focus on Europe where it generates most of its gross profit, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Given the economic reopening in China, continued strong demand for travel, and the company’s history of positive earnings surprises, Argus is raising its FY24 EPS view to $184 from $183 and its FY25 view to $215 from $212, the firm added.
