BofA analyst George Staphos lowered the firm’s price target on Boise Cascade (BCC) to $122 from $131 and keeps an Underperform rating on the shares. Markets are weak currently, but the firm thinks Boise is “focused on the right things longer term,” the analyst tells investors. However, based on qualitative guidance and indicators provided on the call and the slide deck, it appears to us that Boise estimates will move lower and Q1 looks to be below Q4 levels on EBITDA, says the analyst, who lowered the firm’s EPS estimates to $8.40 from $9.15 in 2025 and to $9.80 from $10.10 in 2026.
