Boeing (BA) was announced by the White House to be the winner of the Next Generation Air Dominance Platform, beating Lockheed Martin (LMT) for the award, Morgan Stanley tells investors in a research note. NGAD reflects a key franchise win for Boeing that will span decades, breathing new life into its fighter jet business, the firm says, adding that NGAD is a “notable loss” for Lockheed. Morgan Stanley has an Equal Weight rating and $175 price target on Boeing shares.
