Boeing is preparing to restart delivery of 737 Max jets to China for the first time in four years, Julie Johnsson and Siddharth Philip of Bloomberg report, citing people familiar with the matter. The initial handovers are expected to take place within weeks, sources told Bloomberg. China Southern Airlines, the country’s largest carrier, is poised to take the first 737 Max from Boeing, according to one of the people. Shares of Boeing are up 2% to $221.45 following the report.
