Boeing Commercial Airplanes president and CEO Stan Deal announced in a company-wide memo that the company will implement weekly compliance checks for every 737 work area along with additional audits of equipment, David Gaffen of Reuters reported. The memo comes in the wake of an audit by the FAA on Boeing’s 737 MAX manufacturing processes conducted over the past few weeks.
