Boeing (BA) hired Colin Miler, a former Air Force commander who oversaw aeronautics engineering at Northrop Grumman (NOC) to run its Phantom Works division, which oversees research efforts for its Pentagon business and is involved in bidding for U.S. government projects, Sharon Terlep pf Wall Street Journal reports. Boeing has been beaten out by rivals in several high-profile competitions for U.S. government programs, the Journal says.
