A dead body was found in the wheel well of a United Airlines (UAL) plane on Tuesday afternoon after landing at Kahului Airport in Maui, Hawaii following departure from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, the New York Times’ Alexandra Petri reports, citing authorities. After the landing, “a body was found in the wheel well of one of the main landing gears on a United aircraft,” United Airlines said in a statement. The Maui Police Department is investigating the death.
