Redburn Atlantic analyst Skye Landon downgraded Bloom Energy (BE) to Sell from Neutral with a price target of $10, down from $14.50. The firm has concerns over the company’s ability to grow earnings at market expectations. It forecasts lower levels of product sales on amid concerns on long-term ability of fuel cells to compete with traditional generation sources for market share. New fuel cell competition coming to market in the second half of 2025 could put additional pressure on Bloom’s international business, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Redburn sees “much uncertainty” around the company’s outlook, saying the stock’s’ current valuation is pricing in an optimistic view that does not reflect the risk.
