Blackstone (BX) has tapped financial advisers to assist it in exploring the sale of music rights, including the catalogue of Bob Dylan, Adele, and Ariana Grande, that it anticipates could fetch at least $3B, Bloomberg’s Lucas Shaw reports, citing people with knowledge of the matter. A handful of financial firms, such as Apollo Global (APO), Warburg Pincus, and Temasek Holdings, have shown interest in the rights, the author says, noting that there’s no guarantee a deal will materialize.
