Best Buy enacted another round of job cuts and restructurings last week, with the retailer slashing some of its sales staff and lowering pay for others, The Verge’s Wes Davis reports, citing current and former Best Buy employees. Multiple people told The Verge that their new pay will be significantly lower due to such changes. The layoffs seem to have mainly affected in-home sales roles called designers, who would go to customers’ homes to help figure out which products would work in their space, the author notes.
