Mali’s government has begun enforcing a provisional order to seize gold stock at Barrick Gold’s (GOLD) Loulo-Gounkoto site, the miner said in a note to Malian staff, according to Reuters’ Fadimata Kontao and Portia Crowe. The memo also warns that the company may have to suspend operations at the complex, Reuters noted.
