Bank OZK reports Q4 EPS $1.56, consensus $1.44

Reports Q4 common stockholders’ equity was $5.37B at December 31 , an 11.8% increase from $4.80B at December 31, 2023. Tangible common stockholders’ equity was $4.71 B at December 3 a 13.7% increase from $4.14B at December 31, 2023. Book value per common share was $47.30 at December 31 an 11.5% increase from $42.42 at December 31, 2023. Tangible book value per common share was $41.48 at December 31, a 13.4% increase from $36.58 at December 31, 2023. The Bank’s strong earnings and earnings retention rate, among other factors, have contributed to its robust capital ratios. The Bank’s ratio of total common stockholders’ equity to total assets was 14.03% at December 31, 2024, compared to 14.02% at December 31, 2023. Its ratio of total tangible common stockholders’ equity to total tangible assets was 12.52% at December 31, 2024, compared to 12.33% at December 31, 2023.
