Stifel lowered the firm’s price target on Avantor (AVTR) to $26 from $28 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The organic growth outlook for 2025 is “not all that surprising given the pushes and pulls within the end markets and the starting points for peers,” although management’s commentary on the 20% EBITDA exit rate for 2025 was “surprising to most we spoke with,” says the analyst, who adds that the firm is “not sure Friday’s 12% stock reaction was justified.”
