Auto retailers across the U.S. suffered a second major disruption in as many days after another cyberattack at CDK Global, the software provider that thousands of dealers rely on to run their stores, according to Bloomberg’s Craig Trudell. CDK informed customers Thursday of the incident that occurred late the prior evening and shut down most of its systems again, stating in a recorded update that it doesn’t have an estimate for how long it will take to restore services, according to Bloomberg. Publicly traded auto dealers include Asbury Automotive (ABG), AutoNation (AN), Group 1 Automotive (GPI), Lithia & Driveway (LAD) and Penske Automotive (PAG).
