AST SpaceMobile initiated with a Buy at Roth Capital

Roth Capital analyst Scott Searle initiated coverage of AST SpaceMobile (ASTS) with a Buy rating and $42 price target AST is a satellite pioneer of direct-to-device broadband cellular services that utilize existing mobile network operator spectrum to deliver connectivity to a pre-existing base of 5.6B unique global smartphone users, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says that with 85%-90% of the earth uncovered by terrestrial services, it estimates a 2030 total addressable market of $30B. It expects “rapidly accelerating” sales growth in late 2026 and 2027 for AST.
