Army opens possible recompete of Microsoft $22B IVAS deal, Breaking Defense says

The Army published a new Integrated Visual Augmentation System Next request for information today, which gives interested companies until February 26 to respond with their solutions, noted Breaking Defense’s Ashley Roque. “While the RFI doesn’t guarantee the service will recompete its current 10-year production contract with Microsoft (MSFT) valued up to $22 billion, it does kickstart such a process after surveying the market last year,” the report stated.
