Stifel lowered the firm’s price target on Applied Materials (AMAT) to $235 from $250 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The firm is trimming estimates ahead of Applied Materials’ fiscal Q1 report due on February 13. However, the firm, which believes the market “remains skeptical,” argues that at the current valuation compared to its downwardly revised calendar year 2026 EPS estimate, the stock is “already under-priced relative to peers,” the analyst added.
