Apple (AAPL) appears poised to challenge SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet service on a global scale, as indicated by two new job postings from the company, WCCFTech’s Ramish Zafar reports. Following last year’s announcement that Apple will take a $1.5B stake in mobile satellite service connectivity provider Globalstar (GSAT), the recent job postings suggest that Apple is looking to expand its MSS connectivity capabilities further, according to the report. The firm has posted two job openings on its site, including one for “Senior Regulatory Engineering Program Manager- Satellite/Product Integrity” and the other for “Strategic Deals & Partnerships Manager.”
