Apple (AAPL) is preparing “one of the most dramatic software overhauls in the company’s history” as it aims to transform the interface of the iPhone, iPad and Mac, sources told Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The revamp of the company’s iOS, iPadOS and mac OS, due later this year, will “fundamentally change the look of the operating systems and make Apple’s various software platforms more consistent,” people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg. Shares of Apple are down roughly 6% in afternoon trading.
