Apple (AAPL) plans to use use OLED displays in all iPhone models sold starting in 2025, switching its lower-priced iPhone SE models to OLED screens from LCDs, Nikkei Asia’s Yuka Konishi reports. The move will exclude Japan Display and Sharp from Apple’s handset business, according to the report. OLED panel makers include Universal Display (OLED), Sony (SONY), Samsung (SSNLF), and LG Display (LPL).
