Apple (AAPL) plans to start mass producing a $2,000+ book-style foldable iPhone in 4Q26, with a 7.8″ “crease-free” inner display and a 5.5″ outer display, TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says in a blog post. “Leveraging the iPhone’s status as a must-have device and Apple’s loyal fanbase, it’s expected to generate strong replacement demand-despite the premium price-provided quality meets expectations,” Kuo says. Kuo added on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, that his latest survey indicates that Bright Laser Technologies is a leading supplier and key beneficiary in producing the foldable iPhone’s hinge cover and middle frame NPI, both crafted from titanium alloy.”
