Apple (AAPL) and OpenAI have been finalizing terms for a pact to use ChatGPT features in Apple’s iOS 18, the next iPhone operating system, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman and Julia Love. Apple, which is working on a flurry of new AI features that it is planning to announce next month, also has held talks with Alphabet’s (GOOGL) Google about licensing that company’s Gemini chatbot and while those talks haven’t led to an agreement, they are ongoing, the report added.
