Apple (AAPL) has remedied a bug in the iOS 18.2 Passwords app, for three month beginning with the launch of iOS 18, exposed users to phishing attacks, The Verge’s Wes Davis reports, citing a security content update. The company said a user in a privileged network position may be able to leak sensitive information, but added that the issue had been addressed, the author notes.
