President Donald Trump has nominated Apple (AAPL) executive Jonathan Morrison to serve as the administrator of the NHTSA, Reuters’ David Shepardson reports. Morrison was NHTSA’s chief counsel in Trump’s first term and told Tesla (TSLA) it made inaccurate safety claims, the report notes.
