Apple (AAPL) does not have plans to make an Apple Silicon version of the 27-inch iMac to replace the Intel-fitted (INTC) model that it discontinued last year, The Verge’s Dan Seifert reports. The iPhone maker will instead focus the iMac line around the 24-inch model that first launched in early 2021 and just updated with the new M3 processor this year, the author notes.
