Apple (AAPL) has canceled a project to build advanced augmented reality glasses that would have looked like normal glasses, but include built-in displays and require a connection to a Mac, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The company shuttered the program this week, people with knowledge of the move. Apple is still working on other AR-related projects, including updated versions of the Vision Pro, the report noted.
