American offers flights attendants immediate 17% pay raise, Reuters says

American Airlines offered its flights attendants immediate wage increases of 17% and a new formula for higher profit sharing in 2024 in their new contracts, the company’s CEO Robert Isom said, according to Reuters. In a message to American’s flight attendants, Isom said while a progress has been made in the contract negotiations, there is “still a good deal of work to be done.”
