Evercore ISI raised the firm’s price target on American Express (AXP) to $344 from $315 and keeps an In Line rating on the shares. The firm is “modestly” raising its 2025 and 2026 EPS estimates to $15.07 and $17.44 from $14.63 and $16.76, respectively, coming out of AmEx’s Q4 results, telling investors that it is “incrementally more constructive” on revenue trends, particularly on the heels of better than modeled billed business volume. However, the firm sees risk to the degree of revenue upside that falls to the bottom line, particularly as industry dynamics remain intensely competitive, the analyst added.
